I've joined loads of different paid-to-read and paid-to-click sites over the last year. Most have fallen by the wayside, being either too time-consuming, too annoying, too unreliable or too cheap. Below are the ones that have survived the pruning process - those that earn enough to be worth the time spent clicking, and mostly ones that have proved they can be relied upon to pay up.

By far the best of the bunch - if you only join one, this is the one!
You can earn 60-80 cents per day here, via paid email, paid searches and paid links. The minimum payout is only $25, and the earning rate is so good that you can reach it pretty quickly. The referral program isn't bad and they do random payouts - I got $19 after being a member for only three weeks!


This one is a toughie to describe. The earning rate is fantastic - 40-50 cents per day - so although the payout is quite high, you can reach it easily, and without referrals. The problem is that they are slow to pay - they do pay up (I've had $150 so far!) but you may have to wait 4-6 months. Having said that, there are many programs where it would take that long to reach a $10 payout, so this is still a great program to join.


This program has had it's problems, but is back on track, and better than ever. They pay out at only $10 and the referral levels start at an excellent 25%. I've been paid twice, so I know they're honest, and they're always quick to respond if you have questions or need any help. Plenty of links, and several emails every day - plus trivia and contests.


I have a real soft spot for this one. It has a lower earning rate than some, but it's brilliant because you can cashout at only $3. A real morale-booster as paid programs go. You see, once someone has paid you once or twice, you know you can trust them, and that your effort isn't going to waste. I've been paid three times so far, and can't recommend this one highly enough.


A relatively new one, but looks great so far. Loving the punk influence! Loads of banners and emails, with 4 referral levels starting at 20%. Pays out at $7.77 and includes loads of fun extras like pop/rock trivia contests. More fun than most :-)
